Hello Upgrading or prospective Amateur Radio Operator. This bit of information assumes you do not already have an FCC Registration Number, FRN. The first two short videos explain How to register for an FRN If you just want to roll the dice without watching the two short videos, you can go directly to FCC Registration - LOGIN, where FCC says, “If you DO NOT have an FCC Username, please click the "REGISTER" button below to register an FCC Username.” FCC also says, “New Customers 1)In order to register for an FRN, customers are required to setup an FCC Username, please see instructions: Registering/Creating a Username Account in CORES. 2) Once a username is set-up, customers need to log into CORES, to Register for a New FRN. This new FRN is automatically linked to your Username Account, and you are the Administrator of the FRN. Use this FRN with your Username-password to log into ULS or any other FCC systems requiring an FRN and password login credentials. 3) Upon successfully associating an existing FRN to the Username Account, customers may login to ULS using your FRN and Username Password to proceed to file an application, or login to CORES to continue with the Payment Process for an application filed in ULS. “ It's not difficult, just go step by step Sincerely, The Chicago FM Club Volunteer Examiners.
