In person (only) computer based testing at the Hou.Sec.Con 2025 at the George R Brown Convention Center (for candidates registered in the event). Candidates must have an FRN number before they can take any exam. Check-in is at the HAM table in The Village. Further testing instructions will be given there. Candidates must bring: a valid picture ID, their cell phone, proof of prior license if upgrading and the exam fee (check payable to ARRL VEC or cash-exact change). Testing devices are provided on site.
