In-Person Electronic Exams - Stone Mountain Hamfest - Gwinnett County Fairgrounds

During the Government shutdown, the FCC has disabled all access to all of their Databases and Services. This includes the ability to register and request a FRN needed for taking a FCC exam. To allow new applicants to test please put 10 zeroes (0000000000) in the FRN field. This will allow the applicant to take the exam, but their application will be put on hold until an FRN is applied for and received from the FCC. The applicant will be responsible for providing their FRN to the VEC using the frn@w5yi-vec.org email. They must provide their CSCE and their email address must match the one used on the 605 application.

This exam session will be held in the curtained-off area in the main exhibit hall. The exam will be given electronically via a tablet which we will provide. Personal devices cannot be used. We also provide Simple Calculators and Scientific Calculators (TI-30Xa), scratch paper, and pens.
