The PAPA System is a large ham radio club in Southern California. We have repeaters on 37 hilltops offering a mix of analog, D-STAR, DMR, and P25 repeaters.
At our exam sessions we are providing pre-programmed radios to anyone passing their Technician Class exam. Please plan to spend a little time after the session so we can get you on the air before you leave.
In addition to this session we offer testing at several locations around SoCal. Please see https://papasys.com/ham-exams for more details.
Each of our exam sessions is followed by a PAPA club meeting. We frequently have guest speakers and it will give new hams a chance to talk with other hams.
