Pre-registration required.
Examination will be held in room 2220 Howe Hall at Iowa State University. The room is on the second floor. Free parking is available in lots 6, 9 and 10 north of Howe Hall (see map).
Computer based IN-PERSON testing will be offered (preferred) - you must bring your laptop or tablet with wifi capability. Paper tests also available.
Be sure to study for the test and bring:
- FCC issues Federal Registration Number (FRN)
- Legal photo ID
- Laptop or tablet with wifi capability for computer based testing.
- Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination (CSCE) for prior testing credits that are not reflected by the FCC. In most cases this is not needed.
