COTHA - Church of the Holy Apostles 1225 W Grand Pkwy South Katy TX 77494

The church is located on Hwy 99, south of I10, off of the north bound feeder. This is just north of Highland Knolls Dr. Park in the South parking lot and enter through the West side door (closest to the feeder road). We will have someone at the entrance as well as signs to direct you to the testing room.

1. Please bring exact change ($15) or a check made out to "ARRL VEC". This fee is currently reduced to $5.00 for anyone under 18 years old.

2. Bring your ID (driver's license, passport, school ID, …), for ID verification only, we do not need a copy. A parents' ID is sufficient for children who do not have an ID.

3. You are allowed a calculator with all memory cleared. You are not allowed to use your cell phone as a calculator. Cell phones must be turned off during the testing.

Please note: As of April 19, 2022 the FCC has implemented a $35.00 fee for a new license. The FCC will contact you directly once your test has been processed and you will have 10 days to pay this fee. Upgrades (i.e. Technician to General, General to Extra) do not have this fee. I will have more detailed information about this process at the test session.

The ARRL is currently refunding this $35.00 fee for anyone under 18. Please request refund information at the test session.
